FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: FGA Software Solutions, Inc announced that it has signed five (5) PROPHIT Software system agreements over the last four (4) weeks. Frank Giannantonio, President of FGA, stated, "that these agreements span the full spectrum of our product platform offering." Two of the agreements with Revival Home Care, in Staten Island, NY and No Barriers Home Care in Essex County, NJ are PROPHIT On-Demand installations where the providers will be accessing the software application over the Internet, hosted at FGA's main office in Piscataway, NJ. In addition, Frank Giannantonio stated, "both providers have contracted with FGA, Inc. for comprehensive billing and A/R Management outsourcing services." While outsourcing of the billing and A/R Management function is not a requirement to utilize PROPHIT On-Demand, "it further illustrates the trend for continued acceptance of outsourcing these functions in home care," said John Morris, V.P. of Operations at FGA. "Outsourcing of the billing and A/R Management function was a reasonable and viable alternative to allow us to allocate our knowledge base internally to focus on other PPS issues and leave the billing issues to experts", stated Drew Bergman, Director of Finance at Revival Home Care. "It made no sense to invest in the software and train staff when we could purchase access to the software over the Internet and gain access to experienced staff at the same time, for just about the same price as taking on the burden internally," he stated. Two additional agreements with Englewood Hospital Home Care in Bergen County, NJ and Family Home Health Services of Monroeville, PA are for "PROPHIT with NDoc/ Together". This is a jointly marketed, tightly integrated home care information system consisting of PROPHIT and the point-of-care NDoc® Clinical Documentation system from Thornberry Ltd. "These two agreements further illustrate the growing acceptance in the market of the commitment of both FGA and Thornberry Ltd. to provide a comprehensive integrated solution to the marketplace," remarked Frank Giannantonio. A fifth agreement has been signed with Generations Home Care in Delaware for PROPHIT/NT, FGA's Windows NT based solution. All installations are planned to be fully implemented prior to 10/1/00. |
